Chapter 1







Growing up I knew I was different.People always pointed out the things Im most inscure about. "Im Megan Edwards" I told the class day at Alanta City Highschool. Mrs. Dana Gates my new english reacher told Reauna to raise her hand. I sat in my seat and felt alone.



Reauna- "Hi Im Reauna. This is Carnell." She stated



Megan- "Breeding" I asked



Carnell- "Yeah so you're a fan."



Megan- "Yeah I kinda have a crush on one of your older brothers."



Dustin- "Which one of us." he asked in a cocky way



I thought " Oh man was he gaming for such a damn turn off."



Megan- "Not you thats for sure. But I dont know if I can tell Pat I like him. Ive been through a lot of stuff."



Carnell- " Just get to know him first."



Megan- " Thats what I wanna do Carneezy but I dont wanna get hurt by a friend either."



Reauna- " Hey Megan dont be scared he's really cool for real."



Dustin- " Yeah if you like goof balls."



Megan- "Yeah I like goof balls alright so quit being a bitchass."



Carnell- " Come on Megan and Re its lunch time."



I wiped out my new sidekick and the three of them put their numbers in.



Patrick- "Hey Nell new meat."



Carnell- "Yeah Megan Pat,Pat Megan."



Patrick- "So Megan do you have a man?"



Megan- "Naw they're too much trouble aren't they Diz."



Patrick- "Was he tryna get with you?"



Megan- "Prolly but his bitchass aint my type he prolly takes longer than me to get ready for school."



Patrick- "How long do you take?"



Megan- "I get up at six. Eat, go to my room turn my cd player on. Prolly turn it to DT if its not on DT yet. Listen to it while I get dressed. Go to the bathroom brush my hair and teeth and leave by seven-thirty."



Patrick- "He does take longer than you!"



Kelly and Rokisha came over to the table just then.



Kelly- "Hey guys what up."



I had my headphones in my ears listening to "Make That Change".



Kelly- "So whats the deal on her?"



Rokisha- "Yeah Re?"



Megan- "Im Megan. I just moved down here from Kentucky."



Rokisha- "Cool were listening to Make That Change?"



Megan- "Yeah its one of my fav's from you guys. Wait a minut where's Bryan?"



Rokisha- "Here he comes."



Bryan- "Hey guys whats poppin."



Megan- "Bryan, you and I both know you're not a pimp. Leave that swag with Kelly."



Kelly- "Megan you're right."



A couple months later



Patrick- " Re told me you like me."



Megan- "I do really but you know what my ex said."



Patrick- "I'll help you through this Ray I promise you that."





How can I show her she's my world, My everything, her old life was all drama and I wanna be the one to change all of that. I wanna be the guy to change her life for the better not for the worse but how is that possible



Carnell- "Ray."



Megan- "Yeah."



Carnel- "He does love you."



Megan- " I know he does I just."



I was cut off by Patrick.



Patrick- Just what?"



Megan- "I don't wanna loose what we do have."



Patrick- "Call me when you're not scared to love me Megan. I'll wait no matter how long it takes."

For a year I cried. Had I really lost the man of my dreams because of my inscurities I loved how he made me feel but was I ready.

Megan-"Nellz."

Carnell-"He's here crying trust me. You gotta do this he's your everything."

Megan-"Okay Im outside tell him to get out here."

Carnell-"Okay."

He went to Patrick's bedroom.

Carnell-"She's here."

Patrick-"Ray!"

Carnell- He's coming."

Megan-"Okay."

He came out and he looked better than ever. Eventhough she'd seen him at school that day.

Patrick-"You look amazing."

Megan-"So do you. Wanna go somewhere because we have to talk."

Patrick-"Yeah sure. Can I drive."

Megan-"Yeah but be careful its my baby."

Patrick-" Oh I will be. I have precious cargo with me."

I looked at him. I smiled. He smiled back. His smile was the sexiest part about him besides his eyes.

After I told him how I felt he was happy.

Patrick-" Well I'll have to think about it."

He joked, I laughed a little and hit him lightly.

Megan-"P if we do this."

Patrick-"We're gonna take it slow eventhough I so don't want to."

At school the next couple of weeks Patrick and I had become even closer. He treats like a princess and Im loving it.

Carnell-"Hey Ray."

Megan-"Yeah."

Carnell-"I gotta note from Patrick."

Reauna-"How are you two anyway?"

Megan-"Well we'll see soon won't we."

Reading the note I said.

Megan-"He wants me to meet him at his locker."

Carnell-"Why?"

Megan-"I dont know?"

After class I got my stuff for math and headed to his locker.

Patrick-"Hey what took you so long?"

Megan-"I had to get my books for math class."

Patrick-"Oh okay."

Megan-"So what's up?"

Patrick-"I want you to be mine Megan."

Megan-"Wow I want you to be mine too. Im sorry it took me so long."

Patrick-"Its okay really. It made me realize how much I really do care about you."

Megan-"Thans P it means alot to hear that from you."

Carnell-Ray we have to go."

Patrick pulled me in for a short kiss before he left for class.

Carnell-"What just happend?"

Megan-"Um he's my boyfriend now."

Reauna-"What?"

Rokisha-"Yeah what?"

At lunch that day.

Patrick-"Ray Im gonig up there you want anything?"

Megan-"I'll go with you. Maybe I'll find something?"

He took my hand. His touch was subtle. When we got up there he got a sandwhich and i got spagetti. He had me laughing the whole time. Back at the table he kept my hand and kissed it so many times I lost count.

At the Breeding's house.

Megan-"Baby you have a test tomorrow and so do I we have to study."

Patrick-"But."

Megan-"Okay how about this you make at least a B on the test we'll watch any movie you want."

Patrick-"Alright but you have to like the movie or it wouldn't be fun to watch."

Megan-"Fast and the Furious."

Patrick-"Alright deal."

The test was easy we got them back today. Patrick and I both aced it.

Patrick-"So do you have homework?"

Megan- No I dont what about you?"

Patrick-"No but I do have to go out of town this weekend."

Megan-"Babe."

Patrick-"I'll be back Sunday evening."

Megan-"But babe we just."

Patrick-"Got together i know but I do have a job babydoll."

Megan-"But two days without you thats gonna be hard."

Patrick-"Its only Tuesday babe."

Megan-"So."

He kissed me oh my god amazing. He pulled away.

Megan- "Who said you could stop?"

Patrick-"Well in that case."

When he pulled away again.

Megan-"Baby I got the movie set up wanna watch it now or later."

Patrick-"Now!"

Megan-"Okay."

I fell asleep on his sholder.

The next morning

Patrick-"Hey."

Megan-"Hey."

Patrick-"I went to the house and got you some clothes."

Megan-"Thanks."

Patrick-"Get ready baby."

Megan-"Yeah okay."

Patrick-"By the way."

Megan-"Yeah."

He came up behind me and whispered "I Love You" in my ear. I turned around to face him.

Megan-"I love you too and last night."

Patrick-"Yeah."

Megan-"What part did I fall asleep at?"

Patrick-"The last race dollface."

Megan-"Damn."

Patrick-"Why are you mad?"

Megan-"I love that race."

Patrick-"More than me?

Megan-"Of course not but its high on that list."

While he was on the road they had a huge fight.

When he returned.

Megan-"How can you say I love you."

Patrick-"Because I do Ray."

Megan-"P I love you too but what Keyona said pissed me off."

Patrick-"Keyona is my ex she will always try to break us apart do you want that to happen?"

Megan-"Hell no."

Patrick-"Good neither do I Ray you mean the world to me you know that right."

Megan-"I didnt but I do now."

Patrick looked into my hazel eyes. I came closer to him giving him the hint to kiss me. He leaned inkissed me deeply and carried me upstairs.

Megan-"Im sorry for getting mad."

Patrick-"Babe its okay you had every right."

Megan-"Just so you know Re and Ro are mad at you for yelling at me."

Patrick-"Yeah I kinda figured they would be."

Megann-"Hey guyss."

Patrick lit up and turned around

Patrick-"Yeah babe come here."

Reauna-"Girl Keyona."

Megan-"Is a bitch who got lucky with him."

Rokisha-"Yeah Re shes right dont trip they will always make up."

Patrick-"Keyona leave me alone."

Keyona-"But?"

Bryan-"Keyona hes moved on."

She punched me in the eye but didnt take me down.

Megan-"Ow bitch."

I punched Keyina out in one hit.

Patrick-"Are you okay babe?"

Megan-"My eye hurts."

Keyona brought her parents in to talk to me but secruity said that the hit I gave her ugly ass was self-defense

Keyona-"Ho."

Megan-"Why dont you go fuck someone elses life up?"

Patrick-"Baby come on lets get you home."

I swear Keyona's fucked everything up between me and Patrick. I hope Im not loosing him.

Patrick-"Baby why you sad?"

Megan-"Keyona's damaged everything between us hasnt she."

Patrick-"Sort of but you know I'll always love you."

Megan-"So what can we do to fix this? I dont wanna loose you."

Patrick-"Come to Ny with us. Ive never taken a girl with me before."

Megan-"So Im special to you?"

Patrick-"Yeah and you always will be. I promise you that."

Megan-"So whats the weather like in Ny?"

Patrick-"Yes!"

I went with them and had a blast with Patrick. I never wanted the weekend to end.

A few years later we'd been together all this time. Reauna and Carnell were married. The same with Rokisha and Kelly. They kept they're relationships on the low so only good friends and family knew. But me and Pat still takin it slow. Then one night he was acting weirder than usual.

Patrick-"Baby."

Megan-"Yeah."

He asked me to move in that weekend I did so I was still getting use to living with him it was a change but a good change. He had the living room lit with candles I was still in Pats jacket from dinner. I took it off laid it on the couch and let him speak.

Patrick-"I love you Megan. I love you more than my job and family combined. I dont know what I'd do without you in my life. I was wondering if you would marry me?"

I was crying but managed to say yes!
