.Chapter 6.

I sat down at my normal lunch table and looked at Theresa and Ebony, "do any of you know what's up with D?" I questioned, Ebony shook her head and looked at Theresa, who said nothing, which I knew she knows.

"I can't tell you"

"Come on Theresa, I need to know, I'm worried about her"

"Look if I do tell, you can't tell her I told you" she said , it was a little confusing but I nodded. "Spec wants her to choose between you and him, and she has no idea who to choose"

"What? she has to think about it?"

"Nell you got to tell her" I heard Pat say but everything seem to change, I've got to tell her. Anyway after school I went straight to her house knowing she was home, since she wasn't in last class. I knocked on the front door but no answer, I knocked again and the door opened. There stood Diana's mom, looking into her blood shot eyes, I shook my head, she was high again.

"Sorry to bug you but is Diana here?"

"That little whore? she better not be" she replied, looking over her shoulder. She then walked away closing the door, I never really liked her, I turned around and got back in my car. I drove around hoping to see her walking around but didn't, until I got home, I went up to my room. Where could she be? I grabbed my cell and dialed her number, come on D pick up.

"Ay Nell what's happening?" I heard my own brother ask.

"Nothing much but what you doing with Diana?"

"Oh I'm not Erica is, when I came back from class she was here"

"Oh well can I talk to her?"

"No, she's talking to Erica, meaning they locker themselves in her bedroom"

"Well can you tell her to call me? I need to talk to her"

"Good your going to tell her"

"Jezz you know too"

"I've known before you were even born alright, and I will once she comes out of that room"

"Alright thanks" I said then hang up, I waited and waited until I fell asleep waiting. I woke up to someone shaking me softly, I opened my eyes slowly to see Diana. She was soaking wet and shaking herself, "hold on I get you some clothes" I said. I jumped up and went to my dresser, I quickly got her a shirt and a pair of my boxers. I turned around to see her lips have turned blue and I walked over, I started to help her undress.

"I...I" she started to say but I stopped her, I slipped the shirt over her head and then unhooked her bra. As her bra slid off I unbotton her jeans and they dropped, she then slipped her shoes off. Stepping closer to me, I wanted to move and get her a towel but I couldn't move. "I..I" she started say again but she stopped, I pulled down her boyshorts and then step back. She was beautiful, why didn't I see it before? I made my way to my bathroom and grabbed the nearest towel, walking back into the bedroom. I wrapped the towel around her and managed to sit her down so I could take her socks off. Anyway after she was dressed and getting warm in the cover's, the wet clothes were in the washer. I sat beside her, looking down at her as she looked back up at me, I ran my fingers through her hair.

"I love you D" I said lowly.

"I..I lo..love y..you t..too"

"I mean more then friends, I've always been in love with you" I told her. Her cold hand reached up and touched mine, her eyes never left mine. I leaned down slowly and pressed my lips to her's, I didn't care anymore.

"I know, an..and I mean the same wa..way" she said after I pulled away.

"I want you to be mine, no one else's, just mine"

"I'm yours but te...tell Spec an..and Neeka"

"You tell Spec I'll tell Neeka" I said, she nodded and I laid beside her, wrapping my arms around her. I pulled her close and this is what I wanted, I never wanted to let her go, she was mine, no one else's. I woke up to my cell phone ringing, I quickly picked it up hoping it was Diana, but realized she was beside me, "hello" I answered.

"Baby, I need you" I heard Neeka.

"I'm kind of busy"

"Nell if your not here in the next ten minutes, we're over"

"Alright bye" I said hanging up, I set my phone on the nightstand, I wasn't going to go. I wrapped my arm back around Diana and pulled her close to me. It wasn't a dream, she was really here and I wasn't going to let her go...

.Chapter 7.

I looked up at the ceiling of my bedroom, I missed my baby so much. I hated being in a different school, in a different state, I missed her so much, I missed her touch. Her kisses, just her plain and simple, I grabbed my cell phone from off the nightstand and dialed her number. Hoping it wasn't to early for her, she finally picked up after the third ring, "hello?" she said sleepy.

"Ashley, baby I miss you"

"Dustin?"

"No it's Bob" I replied, she laughed a little.

"Well Bob, I'm kind of sleeping at the moment could you call back later?"

"Nope, because I miss you baby" I whinned.

"Bob you shouldn't say that I'm with someone"

"Ashley stop, I really do miss you" I told her, she let out a breath.

"Dustin I have a class in two hours, I need to go back to sleep, I'll call later, ok?"

"No, lately you've been to fucking busy for me, maybe we should take a break" I said, regetting it once I said it.

"Maybe we should" she said and then hang up, I put my phone back on the nightstand and looked at the picture of us. The one that was on the nightstand, the one I always looked at when I couldn't get a hold of her, I let out a breath. It's for the best right? I mean long distance relationships don't work out, I know that so why did I hope me and Ashley could make it work? I let out another breath, I then heard a knock on my bedroom door, and then Erica appeared.

"I heard" she said softly, walking over in her big ass shirt with panties underneath. She climbed into my bed and laid beside me, she wrapped one of her legs around mine. Her head rested on my chest now, and then she started to rub my belly as she started to talk. "You know it wouldn't have worked out, and I think your better off, they're so many girls here that want you" she told me.

"Really like who?"

"Just a couple of girls I know"

"Really? like who?

"Marie"

"Really? Maybe I should ask her out" I said knowing I wouldn't, at least not for awhile anyway. She just nodded and she soon fell asleep, was I even in love with Ashley? I thought about it until I fell asleep.

"Dustin wake up" I heard her soft voice say, I opened my eyes a little bit to see Erica smiling back at me.

"I'm awake" I said lowly.

"Barely"

"What's up?"

"Something in your boxers"

"Really?" I asked feeling my cheeks grow red, she nodded and slipped out of my bed. She walked into my bathroom as I sat up looking at my alarm clock, seeing I'm over an hour late to class. Wouldn't be the first time, probably won't be the last, after a few seconds I heard the faucet to my sink turn on. I climbed out of bed and walked over, leaning against the doorway to see her washing her face. "So umm what you doing tonight?" I asked her, hoping she'll be free because I needed her right now.

"Tonight? Going to a party, wanna come?"

"Nah I'm not in a mood to go to a party"

"Come on D, you need to move on, she's in a different state, it's not like she'll find out"

"True but..."

"But nothing, your coming with me tonight" she stated and then walked passed me. She continued out of my room and went into her own, she was right I should move on, but isn't it kind of soon? I mean I loved Ashley but why wasn't I more upset about this? Maybe I knew this was going to happen so I didn't get my hopes up, Erica is right I should move on and that's what I'm going to do...

.Chapter 8.

I leaned against my car in the school parking lot, I was waiting for Neeka so that I could break up with her. Diana stayed at my house, once I was done here I was going to go back home. "Hey baby" I heard her voice, she walked over to me and kissed me, she then leaned her body on mine.

"Neeka, I don't think we should be together anymore"

"What?!"

"I moved on and I know you have so why even stay together?"

"Fine but you'll regret this" she said and walked away, I shook my head. I got back in my car and drove home to see her sitting on the pouch waiting for me. I turned off the car and got out, making sure it was locked before going to her. I sat down beside her and wrapped my arm around her, something was going on.

"What's wrong?"

"Once you left, my cell phone rang" she started, looking at the ground as she spoke. "It was your mother telling me she was coming back home" she told me, which made no sense.

"What do you mean? She wasn't suppose to come back until two months from now"

"I know but something happen" she said looking at me, I saw the tears in her eyes.

"What happen?"

"Nothing"

"D you don't cry over nothing"

"I'm not crying, I would never cry over something stupid" she said and stood up, she walked into the house and slammed the front door. I let out a breath and grabbed my cell phone out of my pocket, and dialed my mothers number.

"Why aren't you in school?"

"Because I'm with Diana"

"I already called Kelly to help her out now go to school"

"But mom"

"No, now go!"

"Fine, love you bye" I hang up and stood up, I went to my car and left, I don't like my mother right now...


I walked into the house, and continued to Nell's room, I opened the door to see Diana laying on her side. Her back towards me, I slipped out of my shoes and climbed into the bed. "I heard what happen" I told her she turned around and started to cry on my chest, I just wrapped my arms around her.

"I don't know why I'm upset"

"That's your mother"

"So? she treated me like shit"

"She gave you life"

"So?"

"And no matter what you love her, as she loved you even if she didn't act like she did" I told her. She stayed quiet and continued to cry on my chest, as you can guest, her mother died. Last night, she was shot in the head, the police think she commited suicide but I think it was murder. She soon fell asleep, I carefully slipped out of the bed without waking her, I then walked downstairs to get something to eat. I sat at the table, eatting a bag of chips, I was waiting for my mother to get home, knowing she was going to take a cab. After about two hours later the front door opened and I stood up from my place on the couch. "Hey mom" I said walking over and kissed her cheek before grabbing her bags.

"Hey sweetie, how she doing?"

"She's been sleeping so I think she's fine"

"Ok well we need to talk" she told me, I nodded and then followed her up to her room. Knowing I was going to have to take care of everyone as she got custody of Diana until next month...
